摘    要:20世纪初,伴随着国内诸多学者的努力和杜威等西方学者的推波助澜,培育"新民"成为解决中国近代以来积贫积弱局面的良方,而民国的建立无疑为公民教育的推行提供了制度基础。这一时期公民教育思想的传播和公民教育的实施体现思想启蒙的特点,同时还肩负实现近代化的重任。任何一次社会变革都应立足于思想的变革,而要实现思想的变革,教育必须先行;同时,公民社会的形成与公民教育相辅相成。

Abstract:The emergence of modern civic education in China can be attributed to the efforts of civil scholars andt he help of Western scholars such as Dewey,as well as the construction of the Republic of China,which offeredt he institution basis for the civic education.The spread of the civic education idea and its implementationr epresent the enlightenment of thoughts,and beginning of the responsibility of accomplishing the modernization.M odern civic education teaches us that any social change should be based on the revolution of thoughts,which isb ased on the education.Meanwhile,the development of civic society and the civic education supplement eacho ther.
