转换生成语法对外语教学的启示

摘    要:转换生成语法诞生于20世纪50年代末,诞生伊始便对外语教学尤其是英语教学产生了巨大的影响。然而,在我国对于生成语法与外语教学关系的研究还远远不够,对于转换生成语法——认知理论,以及其理论影响下的认知教学法更缺少必要的研究,致使转换生成语法依然作为一种抽象的理论与广大语言教师形同陌路。因此本文就转换生成语言学与外语教学的关系这一问题作一论述,以期对外语教学有所裨益。

Abstract:Transformational-generative grammar(TGG) appeared in the late of 1950s.It influences the foreign language teaching(FLT) especially English language teaching(ELT) greatly since its birth.However,the study of the relation between generative grammar and FLT is far from adequacy.Cognitive teaching method is still irrelevant to the theory of TGG-cognitive theory.Hence,TGG,still an abstract theory,is strange to most language teachers.Therefore,it is quite necessary to explore and research on the relation of TGG and FLT.
