| 摘 要： | 本文分析了奥尼尔中期作品《悲悼》中的女主角莱维妮娅的悲剧形象：她是爱与恨的统一体、是维护清教的复仇女神；同时她也是家族罪恶的牺牲者。她接受了人间最严厉的惩罚，勇敢地选择活着去面对家族罪恶，从而得到了人性的净化。通过塑造莱维妮娅这一复杂的人物，奥尼尔深刻地揭示了无法抗拒的命运主题，并且表现了《悲悼》的悲剧精神与美学价值。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the image of the heroine Lavinia in O'Neill's play Mourning Becomes Electra. She is the opposite complex of love and hatred, the nemesis of guarding Puritanism, and the victim of the family sin. She accepts the severest punishment in the world, chooses to live and face the family sin bravely and achieves catharsis of humanity. By creating the complex persona Lavinia, O'Neill reveals the theme of irresistible fate and presents the play's tragic spirit and aesthetic value. |
