元初大理地区权力结构探析

以往史学家对元王朝统一西南边疆这一事件非常重视,他们强调中央王朝"元跨革囊"的巨大影响。但这种视角无法告诉我们元王朝对云南各地区的影响究竟处于何种程度。同时,元初云南各地社会文化状况体现出多元特点,不同地区面对元中央势力的进入显然也存在着不同的应对方式。我们选择大理地区探讨元初大理国精英深厚影响力。蒙元依靠军事力量击败大理国,但兵力消耗巨大,加之主力很快北返,因而元初大理国贵族故旧仍然是大理地区的主导力量。掀起浩大声势的起义军领导者舍利畏,以及这场起义的平定者段实都体现了这一点。研究表明,元初大理国王室段氏仍然在这一地区拥有至高无上的影响力,甚至等同于"国主";而姚州白长善的例子向我们证明,即便中央王朝已经设置行政机构进行管理,但大理各地区的控制权依然掌握在大理国贵族故旧手中。这说明大理社会权力结构并不随着元王朝的进入而发生根本变化,这也是我们理解元代大理地区土官问题、民族政策的着眼点。
