| 摘 要： | 在英语翻译中，学生深感头疼的莫过于长句翻译，因为长句往往从句套从句，或短语套短语，让译者无从下手，甚至顾此失彼。正确掌握句中的词义固然重要，但善于运用英漠两种语言的特点进行长句翻译更为关键。从这一角度出发，本文通过对比两种语言的不同特点，提出要采用拆译、分译、转译的手法正确追行长句翻译，从而追一步提高翻译质量。
