| Abstract: | The author has been engaged in research on high jump for quite a long time and had actedas the high jump coach of the Chinese national team. In this paper, the author analyses the reasons whyin the recent years, the high jump in China has not been improved to a higher level. The author also putsforward ideas and suggestions on how to handle properly the popularization and improvement, how toselect the talents and how to better the technical training, scientific research and competition reform. |
