| 摘 要： | 在英语里 ,除了用肯定形式来表达肯定意义外 ,还可用否定形式 ,疑问形式和间接形式等来表达肯定意义 ,即暗含肯定。暗含肯定具有加强语气 ,强化肯定 ;迂回曲折、含蓄委婉 ;利用反面 ,强调正面 ;言明意显 ,直率明快等修辞效果 ,值得认真总结研究。

| Abstract: | This paper deals with the implied affirmative and its rhetorical effect.In English not only the affirmative form,but also the negative,interrogative and indirect forms can be used to express an affirmative meaning .The latter three are all termed the implied affirmative ,which has the rhetorical effect of emphasizing a strong affirmative or saying something in a polite or roundabout way |
