英汉习语对比研究

英汉两种语言历史悠久,源远流长,习语乃是语言中颇具活力的一部分。由于语言的广泛使用,习语大量涌现。习语是从语言中精练而成的短语或短句,它是语言的核心与精华。尽管我们能自如运用习语,但因不同时期的文化差异,正确理解习语并非易事。目前,习语普遍被人们接受,流传越来越广泛。

Contrast Study of English and Chinese Idioums

Either English or Chinese has long history.Idioms most have the vitality in the part of a kind of language.So a large number of idioms exist in English and Chinese.It is a little difficult to comprehend for us since its differences of culture in different times,though we can freely use most of them.For strengthening the understanding of idioms(especially the English ones),this paper made a comparison between the Chinese idioms and the English ones with the following three points: the impact of social development upon the idioms,the extensive of the idioms and the character in short of the idioms.
