摘    要:哈佛大学教育学院和亚利桑那州立大学教育技术专业人员借助于信息技术设计,开发了基于MUVE的中学科学课程"River City"并在北美中学科学教育中得到了广泛的应用。论文总结和分析了River City的课程设计特点,以期对我国相关课程的改革有所启发和借鉴。

Abstract:River City is a multi-user virtual environment(MUVE) course designed to teach middle school science.It was development by Harvard University and Arizona State University.The course has been wide adopted in North America.The authors give a system analysis about the structure,the characteristics,the design and the implementation of this course.
