理工类大学外语专业人才培养模式探讨

理工科院校的英语专业如何找准自己的定位，制定出符合自己办学水平和办学特色的培养计划并付出实施是亟待解决的问题。围绕我院实际，探讨专业英语办学的定位、培养规划和实施方案，并在两届学生中进行实践探索，旨在摸索出一套适应理工科院校外语人才培养模式切实可行的出路。

An Exploration of Language Major Orientation in Universities of Science & Technology

Those English departments or schools in universities of science and technology face urgent needs for its major orientation, appropriate curriculum, and working strategies. Taken School of Foreign Studies in CUMT as an example, this paper explores possible and suitable ways to solve the problems, with their practice in the past two years. It is expected that the research can offer some considerations for language studies in universities of science and technology.
