The Phenomenon of Higher Education Served as Tool and Its Countermeasures

China s higher education tends to completely conforming to the market-oriented policy under the influence of utilitarian thinking.It focuses on vocational skills training and neglects humanistic education resulting instrumental phenomenon.This is contrary to the purpose of higher education and personnel training.To solve this problem,we must establish correct training objectives of higher education and reshape the values of higher education programs to promote science and technology education and the integration of humanistic education.
