我国专业类国外核心期刊的动态评价与分析

分析了国外专业类核心期刊的特点,利用网络数据库对国内部分图书馆专业类期刊的馆藏现状进行了统计研究,结果表明,我国国外专业类核心期刊的订购品种比较齐全,具有地区集中、在线期刊数量增加、共享需求明显等特征,并就外文期刊协调与共享过程中可能存在的问题进行了探讨。

EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS ON THE OVERSEAS PROFESSIONAL CORE PERIODICALS

This paper attempts to review and analyze features of overseas professional core periodicals. Statistical analysis based on network databases is conducted on the collection status of the periodicals in Chinese libraries. The result indicates that though categories of professional core periodicals in China are relatively complete, they are regional concentrated. Research finds the increase in the number of electronic journals, and sharing of overseas periodicals with a salient feature of demand, account for a high rate of access. This paper also discusses coordination and sharing problems of overseas periodicals.
