英汉变式句及其翻译策略

英汉语中都既有符合语法习惯和人们认知规律的常式句,也有对人们认知规律有所偏离的变式句。英汉语的变式句可大体对应,但不尽相同。英语由于形态清晰和语法逻辑性强,其变式句较容易被规定和辨认,产生的认知语用理据也较多。比较而言汉语变式句则不太容易被理解,它的产生基本是出于修辞的需要。对于英语变式句和汉语变式句,我们应区分其不同的句式特点,采取不同的翻译策略。

Comparison and Translation Strategies of English and Chinese Inversion

Generally, the latter ones in Chinese and English correspond to one another, however, they do not always correspond. The inversion in English can easily be recognized and understood for English has a clear form and systematic grammar. While Chinese inversions are not easily understood for they usually raise out of the rhetorical demands. In a word, the inversions in Chinese and English should be dealt with according to its respective characters, with different translation strategies.
