也谈澳门语言的发展趋势及其语言规划

澳门是个多语多言的社会。澳门回归后 ,其语言状况必将发生明显的变化与发展。其发展的总趋势 :由汉语 (实指粤语 )、英语、葡语三语并用 ,粤方言、闽方言、吴方言等多言流通的格局向双语 (汉语、英语 )、双话 (广东话、汉话普通话 )的方向发展 ,走双语、双话之路。澳门语言规划的总原则 :尊重历史 ,正视现实 ,放眼未来。即根据语言发展的规律和澳门特区社会的发展以及广大居民的意愿 ,制定出切实可行的带前瞻性的语言政策。

Macao＇s Languages Developing and Programming

Macao has been a multi-languages and multi-dialects society. The present situation will greatly changed and develop after Macao returning to China. In my opinion, it is the general developing trend that the languages change from using Chinese (practically Cantonese), English and Portuguese together to Chinese and English coexisting; and that the dialects from Cantonese, Min, and Wu to Cantonese and Putonghua. The principle of Macao's languages programming is to respect the history, to face the reality and to look forward to the future. The government should make a practical and foreseeable languages policy according to the rules of languages developing, the needs of the society and the desires of the local people.
