| Abstract: | Humbert's tragic life makes readers feel lamented.He experiences complex spirit changes throughout his life.However,such great spiritual changes are not accomplished suddenly,but experience a series of happiness and depression,desire satisfaction and desire suppression.In the article,it starts from Herbert's life experiences to his spiritual path in order to prove that he is a dream-pursuer drowning in the desire ocean. |
