| Abstract: | The short novel The Knife in Clear Water,written by Shi Shuqing,an author from the Hui Nation,is about the daily life of the Hui Nation. Its inside information is created from the cultural spirit of Islam which is the belief of the Hui Nation. It expresses a detached but positive outlook on life and death. The view lays equal stress on life and death. |
