| 摘 要： | 翻译中普遍存在着原语与目的语之间的词汇空缺现象。从语言和文化关系的角度来看英汉互译中词汇空缺产生的原因主要有：自然环境和生活方式的差异；风俗习惯不同；宗教信仰不同；民族价值观和审美观不同。针对翻译过程中词汇空缺现象提出了相应的翻译策略。

| Abstract: | There is vocabulary vacancy phenomenon in translating from the original language to the target language.From the perspective of the relation between language and culture this paper mainly discusses the causes of the vocabulary vacancy in English-Chinese Translation,which result from the differences in natural environment and life-style,social customs and habits,religious belief,national values and aesthetic standards.And in response to the vocabulary vacancy phenomenon in the translation process,the paper brings forward the corresponding translation strategies. |
