实证主义的衰落和理论心理学的复兴 ,是近年来西方心理学发展的一个新的重要的特点。当前西方理论心理学发展的重点是力图在提高理论研究方式的科学化水平基础上 ,加强对具体的、中等水平的亚理论问题的整合性学术探讨 ,进一步寻求心理学理论研究走向繁荣的学科内在发展机制。现代西方理论心理学面临的挑战首先是要面对实证主义心理学的诘难。其次 ,要克服当前心理学研究的“离心与分裂”的现实局面 ,探求有效的范型和工具进行元理论与实体理论的统一及整合

Rejuvenation of and Challenge to Western Theoretical Psychology

The decline of positivism and the revival of theoretical psychology is distinctively characteristic of the development of western psychology in recent years. At present, western psychology attempts to base its development on raising the scientized level of approaches by strengthening the academic reshaping exploration of some concrete and intermediate sub theories so as to search for the interior mechanism of development for the flourishing of research in psychological theory. From the above mentioned, western modern theoretical psychology, first of all, has to face the challenge lashed up by positivism. Then, it has to get rid of the reality of "tattering and separation" in psychological study and explore the effective pattern and means to realize the unification and reshaping of prime theory and applied theory.
