Socialist mathematics education: Does it exist? |

| Abstract: | A recent book by Frank Swetz and others has postulated the existence of the  phenomenon socialist mathematics education. In this paper we consider critically Swet's arguments and assertions and suggest an alternative methodology whereby one might attempt to describe socialist mathematics education. |
