水杯固定器

我发明了一种水杯固定器。我先准备一个带挂钩的吸盘,这个吸盘利用偏心轮可以控制吸盘的吸附和释放。我对吸盘进一步改装,将吸盘的挂钩锯下,安放了一个杯托。当杯托倾斜时,吸盘处于释放状态,这时可以自由移动;当杯托水平时,吸盘处于吸附状态,装置可以固定在所需要的位置上。

基于DSP永磁同步电机的电梯应用研究

以DSP系统和永磁同步电机在电梯中的应用为目标,讨论了电梯控制系统的结构、矢量控制的基本原理、基于DSP的永磁同步伺服系统的软硬件组成及设计方案,采用TMS320LF2812数字信号处理器,实现了对电梯永磁同步电机的矢量控制。实验结果表明：应用高速DSP芯片,采用矢量控制的永磁同步电机电梯拖动系统具有良好的动态响应性能和静态性能,并具有结构紧凑,设计合理,控制灵活等优点。

采用量产电控汽油机上的传感器、控制器和执行器，开发了一套用于演示汽油机电控系统工作原理和过程的实验教学装置。该装置可模拟并演示电控汽油机的喷油、点火、加速、减速、怠速、碳罐等控制过程，简洁、直观、可操作性强，对学生掌握汽油机电控系统的组成和功能起到了积极作用。

Approaches to studying and perceptions of academic quality in electronically delivered courses

The Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ) and a short form of the Approaches to Studying Inventory (ASI) were administered to students who were taking electronically delivered courses in computer science. The constituent structure of the CEQ was preserved in this distinctive context, and a second-order factor analysis confirmed its role as an index of perceived academic quality. The students' scores on the individual scales of the CEQ and the ASI shared nearly two-thirds of their variance. In short, approaches to studying in electronically delivered courses are strongly associated with students' perceptions of the academic quality of those courses.     

Examining big brother's purpose for using electronic performance monitoring

We examined whether the reason offered for electronic performance monitoring (EPM) influenced participants' performance, stress, motivation, and satisfaction. Participants performed a data‐entry task in one of five experimental conditions. In one condition, participants were not electronically monitored. In the remaining conditions, participants were electronically monitored but the explanation varied. One group was told that they would be electronically monitored but were given no explanation. Another group was told that EPM would be used to research factors associated with performance. In the developmental condition, participants were told that EPM would be used to provide them with feedback to improve performance, and in the administrative condition, participants were informed that EPM would be used to distribute rewards and punishments. Administrative condition participants had higher motivation and performance yet relatively low stress and dissatisfaction levels. Thus, EPM may enhance performance on simple, repetitive tasks without necessarily producing negative outcomes.     

A Comparison of Response Rate,Response Time,and Costs of Mail and Electronic Surveys

Response rates, response time, and costs of mail and electronic surveys were compared. The survey sample consisted of college faculty in the southeastern United States. Mail surveys yielded a higher response rate and a lower rate of unde-liverable surveys. However, receipt of responses was significantly quicker for those delivered electronically, with over 80% of initial responses arriving before receipt of the 1st returned mail survey. The costs associated with distribution of surveys and preparation of data for analysis were much lower with the electronically delivered surveys.     

Reading Together: Capitalising on inter-disciplinary work in the development and refinement of reading tests

The present article provides further evidence of the growing involvement of educational psychologists in inter-disciplinary work. Drawing on the experience of an ongoing national reading test development project, the article describes how educational psychologists and linguists have successfully managed to combine professional knowledge and expertise to create and refine a group reading test. It reports on the innovative approach to reading test development that has emerged from this inter-disciplinary work. That is, how electronically stored language corpora (bodies of electronically stored text) and the employment of corpus analysis software can help to secure the content validity of reading tests. The article concludes by emphasising the growing accessibility of new software tools and suggests that there is increasing scope for inter-disciplinary involvement in the area of reading. It also comments on the potential of this approach in the understanding and assessment of dyslexia.

Investigating the relationship between quality,format and delivery of feedback for written assignments in higher education

Feedback can have a great impact on student learning. However, in order for it to be effective, feedback needs to be of high quality. Electronic marking has been one of the latest adaptations of technology in teaching and offers a new format of delivering feedback. There is little research investigating the impact the format of feedback has on quality of feedback and subsequently on student learning. This study sets out to investigate the impact paper-based and electronic methods of assignment submission and return have on students’ and markers’ perceived quality of feedback. Students and markers on an undergraduate course were asked to complete an anonymous online survey investigating their perceptions of quality, format and timeliness of feedback delivered electronically and on paper. The results showed that marking and providing feedback electronically was an acceptable method for markers, reporting improved speed and consistency of marking. There was no increase or decrease in satisfaction with the feedback received. Overall, electronic marking was found to be an acceptable method of delivery of feedback on written assignments by both students and markers. The findings of this study suggest that electronic marking can result in more timely feedback for students without impacting on quality.
