This paper presents a general theory of decoupling a system of nonuniform lossless coupled lines with the aid of linear transformations. The lines have a common return and support only TEM waves. It is shown that the solution of the decoupling problem is equivalent to that of the simultaneous diagonalization of a set of real constant matrices through specially related pairs of congruent and similarity transformations. The solution of the equivalent problem yields the necessary and sufficient conditions for decoupling the system of coupled lines. A systematic procedure for decoupling is then presented. A special case is studied for which the decoupling problem becomes simpler. Finally, we have derived a set of equivalent but considerably simpler necessary and sufficient conditions for decoupling the frequently used system of a pair of lossless coupled lines.  相似文献

A full order fractional-order observer is designed for a class of Lipschitz continuous-time nonlinear fractional-order systems with unknown input. Sufficient conditions of existence for the designed observer and stability of state estimation error system are developed by reconstructing state and using general quadratic Lyapunov function. By applying fractional-order extension of Lyapunov direct method, the stability of the fractional-order state estimation error system is analyzed. Due to the conditions involving a nonlinear matrix inequality, a new sufficient condition with linear matrix inequality (LMI) is reformulated, which makes the full order fractional-order observer implemented easily by using Matlab LMI toolbox. Examples are taken to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach by numerical simulations.  相似文献

A new approach to the input-output uniform decoupling problem of linear time-varying analytic systems via proportional state feedback is presented. A major feature of the proposed approach is that it reduces the solution of the uniform decoupling problem to that of solving a linear algebraic system of equations. This system of equations greatly facilitates the solution of the three major aspects of the decoupling problem: the necessary and sufficient conditions, the general analytical expressions for the controller matrices, and the structure of the uniformly decoupled closed-loop system.  相似文献

In this paper, a numerical method to solve nonlinear optimal control problems with terminal state constraints, control inequality constraints and simple bounds on the state variables, is presented. The method converts the optimal control problem into a sequence of quadratic programming problems. To this end, the quasilinearization method is used to replace the nonlinear optimal control problem with a sequence of constrained linear-quadratic optimal control problems, then each of the state variables is approximated by a finite length Chebyshev series with unknown parameters. The method gives the information of the quadratic programming problem explicitly (The Hessian, the gradient of the cost function and the Jacobian of the constraints). To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation results of two constrained nonlinear optimal control problems are presented.  相似文献

A rotor-active magnetic bearing (AMB) system subjected to a periodically time-varying stiffness with quadratic and cubic nonlinear under tuned, and external excitation is studied. The method of multiple scales is applied to analyze the response of two modes of a rotor-AMB system near the simultaneous combined and sub-harmonic resonance. The stability of the steady-state solution for that resonance is determined and studied applying Rung–Kutta fourth order method. It is shown that the system exhibits many typical nonlinear behaviors, including multiple-valued solutions, jump phenomenon, hardening and softening nonlinear and chaos in the second mode of the system. The effects of the different parameters on the steady-state solutions are investigated and discussed.  相似文献

This paper addresses the filtering problem for the one-sided Lipschitz nonlinear systems under measurement delays and disturbances using a generalized observer. A generalized architecture for filtering of the one-sided Lipschitz nonlinear systems with output delays is explored, which exhibits diverging manifolds, namely, the conventional static-gain filter and the dynamical filter, and can be employed to render robust stability of the filtering error dynamics. A matrix inequality based framework is obtained by employing a Lyapunov?Krasovskii (LK) functional, whose derivative is exploited through Jensen's inequality, one-sided Lipschitz condition, quadratic inner-boundedness inequality and range of the measurement delay, resulting into L2 stability for the filtering error system. Generalized filter design for the Lipschitz nonlinear systems with delayed outputs and specific results for the delay-dependent and delay-rate-independent filtering schemes for the one-sided Lipschitz nonlinear systems are deduced from the proposed approach. Convex optimization techniques are employed to achieve a solution for the nonlinear constraints through linear matrix inequalities by employing cone complementary linearization approach. Illustrative numerical examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed method are provided.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose to develop algorithmically and implement a nonlinear decentralized optimal control for multimachine power systems, based on a successive approximation approach for designing the optimal controller with respect to quadratic performance index. The advantage of this approach is to transform the high order coupling nonlinear two-point boundary value (TPBV) problem into a sequence of linear decoupling TPBV problem, which uniformly converges to the optimal control for nonlinear interconnected large scale systems. We apply this approach to a 3-machine power system which generators are strongly nonlinear interconnected, and containing possible uncertainties on the parameters. We demonstrate clearly via advanced simulations that this approach brings better performances than other decentralized controller, improving effectively transient stability of these power systems in few iterative sequences for different cases of perturbations.  相似文献

The problem of designing a linear state feedback controller for single-input single-output decoupling of linear multivariable 2-D (two-dimensional) systems is discussed. A method is presented for the determination of the decoupling controller matrices which, when applied to the open-loop system, yield a closed-loop system whose transfer function matrix is diagonal and nonsingular. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for the state feedback decoupling problem to have a solution. Two examples are included to illustrate the proposed decoupling method.  相似文献
