| 摘 要： | “立人”是“五四”时期众多启蒙先驱的共同理想,周作人和林语堂也以“立人”作为他们反抗封建制度与封建化的思想武器。他们的“立人”思想主要表现在对“国民性改造”问题的关注,对“科学”的欢呼以及他们的学观念与实践上。对这一问题的研究也为我们研究资产阶级自由知识分子的心路历程提供了参照。

| Abstract: | As well as many enlightening pioneers in the period of the May 4th Movement, Zhou Zuo-ren and Lin Yu-tang also used the idea of "Fostering People" as a weapon in fighting against feudal system and feudalist culture. Their ideas mainly showed in their attention to the issue of renovation of people's civic personality, advocating of "science" and their literary idea and practice. Research on this issue will provide references for our investigation to the spiritual history of these bourgeois liberalist intellectuals. |
