高中生物新教材以崭新的面貌展现在广大师生面前,给生物教学带来生机和活力.这里不去讲新教材的优点,而将新教材和原教材比较一下,找出新教材和原教材说法有出入之处以及原教材有而新教材删去的部分,(这里不总结新教材所新增加的部分别内容)以供2001～2002届高三年级生物教师和高三年级学生在教学和学习中参考,以减少不必要的劳动.

The development of a career identity

In modern society individuals are becoming responsible for their own work allocation. In order to overcome an increasing social and work-related insecurity, they not only have to acquire specific career skills but also a so-called \"career identity\". A career identity is a structure of meanings in which the individual links his own motiviation, interests and competencies with acceptable career roles. In the article the concept of meaning is explored and further elaborated as a social learning process. The article concludes with some remarks about the need for a strong learning environment.

The big search: streamlining the textbook selection process

Schools that serve hearing-impaired students must exercise special care in selecting textbooks to support classroom instruction. This article outlines the procedures developed and used at Kendall Demonstration Elementary School at Gallaudet University to evaluate and select a social studies textbook series. These procedures should apply to other subjects as well, and are offered as a resource model for other schools. Specific suggestions are made for every step in the process, including conducting a needs assessment, locating potential materials, defining roles of committee members, developing evaluation criteria and more. Emphasis is placed on conducting a comprehensive, manageable, and ultimately effective textbook search that supports the school's curriculum and satisfies the needs of students and teachers.

Science education textbook research trends: a systematic literature review

The number of science education research papers has been rapidly rising in recent years. This number has been particularly influenced by researchers from non-English speaking countries who contribute to the field. With this number of papers, literature reviews gain in importance as they help researchers more easily orient themselves in problem areas. The authors of this study present a literature review on science textbook research. The importance of textbooks in education is indisputable, yet research in this field is surprisingly unbalanced between particular regions or states. In this paper, a review of 183 papers published between 2000 and 2018, indexed to the Web of Science database, is introduced. The results show that researchers in Europe and the USA focus on textbook research more than researchers elsewhere in the world. The textbooks most frequently researched on are science books for secondary schools. Textbook research consists mostly of analysing learning concepts and how concepts are integrated, non-textual elements in textbooks, visual representations, learning content or learning text analysis.     

留学生文化课教材编写模式研究

近年来,留学生对高质量文化课教材的需求日益迫切,而从实际情况看,尽管留学生文化教材的数量、种类都不断增加,质量也在不断提高,但是在语言、内涵、内容选择、与读者的互动、定位等方面仍存在着一些亟待改进之处。本文认为文化课教材的编写应遵循以下原则:在内容组织上,应以跨文化背景下中国人的价值观和思维方式为主要脉络,以专题为单位,体现传统与现代、表层文化与深层文化的有机结合,建构一种系统的文化体系;在目的上,应注意文化课教材与文化读本(文化辅助教材)以及专业课教材的差异;在适用对象上,应依据学生的语言水平,结合学生的兴趣、所在地域和所在学校的专业特点等,因地制宜、有的放矢地进行教材编写;在精神内涵上,应体现与其他文化模式的差异和共性。本文还就编写模式提供了具体建议。
