大学教师教学发展的困境与对策：信息化与学习科学的视角——兼论校本教学发展的组织与制度

在信息社会和大科学时代,大学教学受到学生群体的变化和结构的多样性、信息技术的广泛应用、科研与教学的断裂等多方面的冲击。多学科视角下的学习科学对大学教师的教学专业能力亦形成挑战,教学发展的校本支持服务体系有待建设和完善。大学应从设置专业的教学发展支持机构和建设教学发展共同体两方面确保教学发展的组织归属,从奖励优秀教学、制订常态化的教学发展规划、职称评定中充分考虑大学教师的教学绩效等三方面,创设清晰的教学发展的制度导向;并应基于学习科学的理念,超越信息技术整合教学能力的培训范式,引领教师走出信息技术使用的唯PowerPoint误区,创设教师教学发展的虚拟学习网络。

动态战略适应视角是从大学战略管理中提出来,学部制改革作为大学内部治理结构中重要的战略选择,涉及高校内人、财、物多方面整合。基于动态战略适应理论的分析框架,即大学战略与大学所处的内外部环境、所拥有的资源以及大学内部组织之间的适应状态,提出学部制改革成效分析范式,即学部制改革的环境适应、资源适应及组织适应。

Collaborative Scholarship in Academic Library Literature: Who,What, and When

Academic librarianship is very much concerned with the scholarship of others, but what do we know about the scholarship of librarians? This empirical study examines the relationship between author demographics, article topic, and, in particular, faculty and librarian authorship collaboration in the academic library literature. Extensive data collection facilitated the analysis of trends, correlations, and frequencies. Significant findings were found regarding the number of authors, article type, and paper topic in the context of faculty and librarian authorship collaboration.

普通高校体育教师职业生涯发展不同阶段组织承诺与离职意愿关系研究

对湖北、湖南、浙江、江苏等省部分高等院校的280名体育教师的组织承诺,离职意愿及职业生涯发展阶段进行了调查。有效数据被试247名,男性占68%,女性占32%;平均年龄34岁。对有效数据进行多元回归分析,表明普通高校体育教师职业生涯发展的第2阶段(在适应成长阶段),规范承诺能够有效地预测离职意愿;在职业生涯发展的第3阶段(即在快速发展阶段),情感承诺能够有效地预测离职意愿。因此,在体育教师的适应成长阶段提高其规范承诺、在快速发展阶段提高其情感承诺可降低其离职意愿,这将为高校体育院系的有效管理提供一定的依据。     

成就动机在产业集群员工离职意愿决定中的调节效应研究

采用我国产业集群内企业员工样本,运用层级回归方法对员工离职意愿的主要结构化变量和环境变量的解释能力进行了检验,在此基础上提出并检验了个体成就动机对员工离职意愿的解释能力,进而验证了追求成功动机与避免失败动机在员工离职意愿决定过程中的调节效应.     

Engaging the scholar: Three types of academic consulting and their impact on universities and industry

We present a conceptual framework of academic consulting and explore its impacts on universities and the benefits to innovating firms. We distinguish between three types of academic consulting: opportunity-driven, commercialization-driven and research-driven. Exploring the implications of these different types, first, we postulate that consulting has limited impact on biasing academic research towards more ‘applied’ themes. Secondly, while we expect research-driven consulting activities to be positively associated with research productivity, opportunity-driven consulting will have a negative impact. Thirdly, we differentiate between different functions of academic consulting for different types of firms.     

Early career teachers’ sense of professional agency in the classroom: associations with turnover intentions and perceived inadequacy in teacher–student interaction

Teachers’ capacity to learn intentionally and responsively in the classroom is particularly vulnerable during the first years in the profession. This study investigated the interrelations between early career teachers’ turnover intentions, perceived inadequacy in teacher–student interaction, and sense of professional agency in the classroom. The survey data were collected from 284 in-service teachers with not more than 5 years of experience and analysed by structural equation modelling (SEM). The results showed that the negative relation between turnover intentions and early career teachers’ sense of professional agency was completely mediated by perceived inadequacy in teacher–student interaction. The results indicate that experiences of insufficient abilities to solve pedagogically and socially challenging student situations have a crucial effect on early career teacher’s capacity for adaptive reflection and active transformation of instruction.
