Responding to the Traditionni Culture from Fang Hong - jinn'''' s Tragedy --On the Subject of The Besieged City

We must analyse Fang Hong - jian's tragedy in the light of history and culture at that time. The traditional culture has been on the wane, and the western learning has been coming to the east.Fang Hong-jian has been portrayed an image of the dead that is a historical elder by the author. It reproduces the standing,desting and transmutation of the traditional culture. The Besieged city should be refered to the interiming Chinese society that was puzzled by domestic trouble and foreign invasion,the traditional culture was ignorant and felt puzzled,but the western learning was awkward in china.
