探春悲剧简论

探春是《红楼梦》中颇富才情的一位贵族少女 ,作者在这个人物形象身上倾注了许多心血 ,对它寄予了“补天”的希望 ,以此表达自己的理想。但作为贾府三小姐的她 ,却有着先天不足的庶出身份 ,这使她敏感、自卑 ,且处于一种尴尬的境地。本文主要结合探春协理荣国府的相关描写 ,探讨这位贵族少女的悲剧成因 ,并最终认为 ,其悲剧的产生 ,实源于她个人的出身所形成的独特性格及这种性格与她的家庭和所处时代的不谐和之间的矛盾

The Tragedy of Tanchun

Tanchun is a talented lady full of great sentiments. The author makes painstaking effort in her characterization to embody his ideal. Though she is one of the ladies in Jiafu, she suffers from the fact that she is born of a concubine, which renders her sensitive, self-abased and ever haunted by a sense of being born low. With reference to how Tanchun assists in the management of Jiafu, this article probes into the cause of the lady's tragedy and arrives at the conclusion that it is the discord between her peculiar disposition, which is the result of her dubious parentage, and her big feudal family and the times she is in that finally brings about her downfall.
