Educators’ experiences in special education institutions during the COVID-19 outbreak

The COVID-19 outbreak has had a profound impact on education worldwide. As a result of the educational institutions closures, it is likely that the impact on special education would be more detrimental since special education population becomes more vulnerable in the aftermath of an outbreak. In the scope of this study, a researcher created survey was used to examine educators’ teaching experiences and their perceptions about the impact of COVID-19 outbreak on special education students. The sample included 215 educators working in the Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers (SERCs) in Turkey. Results indicated that a large majority of the SERCs were not able to continue their education during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, there was a difference in educators’ experiences by their educational practices (normal weekly schedule, reduced schedule, most of the educational activities are suspended, and all of the educational activities are suspended). Perceived level of COVID-19 outbreak impact on special education students were found to be significantly higher for autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, visual impairments, hearing impairments, specific learning disabilities and gifted students, respectively. The conclusion highlights the need of global collaboration, disaster preparation and management for students with special needs.     

The RIX Wiki: the use of multimedia advocacy to support person-centred planning in a special needs secondary school – implications for current policy and practice

The article documents findings from a pilot study undertaken in 2012–2013 in a special needs secondary school in the England, that trialled the use of a multimedia advocacy tool, “The RIX Wiki”. The trial was part of the pathfinder programme, which aimed to reform existing Special Education Needs provision, from the system of statementing to one of developing education health care plans. The reforms became enshrined in the Children and Families Act (2014). The findings were overall positive and helped with person-centred planning processes. The discussion is framed within current and future policy directives. We argue that multimedia advocacy approaches and software tools, like the “RIX Wiki” will have a continued role to play in ensuring the needs, aspirations and choices of children and young people with learning disabilities remain central.     

Adherence to 24-hour movement guidelines among Portuguese preschool children: the prestyle study

The 24-Hour Movement Guidelines (24 hMG) provide specific recommendations, including physical activity (PA), screen-time and sleep-duration, which preschoolers should achieve for a healthy day (24 h). The aim of the current study was to analyse preschooler’s adherence with the 24-Hour Movement Guidelines.     

新冠肺炎疫情下专业图书馆科研新媒体服务探究——以中国科学院文献情报中心“中国科讯”为例

[目的/意义] 以中国科学院文献情报中心"中国科讯"为例，分析专业图书馆应急科学传播服务的举措及成效，为应急事件下专业图书馆科学传播服务提供借鉴。[方法/过程] 梳理新冠肺炎疫情期间"中国科讯"微信公众号推送的服务内容，从日均用户增长和阅读量分析用户对不同类型内容的关注程度，提出应急科学传播服务的思考。[结果/结论] 疫情期间，"中国科讯"日均用户增长明显，电子资源保障类内容阅读量最高，其次为新冠病毒科技攻关进展相关内容、科普类直播和信息素养教育直播观看人数达到数万人。应急事件下，专业图书馆应加强特色服务的宣传、加强信息甄选和审核机制，重大公共卫生事件下应急科学传播工作预案缺失也需引起重视。     

对全民健身战略背景下健身走运动推广的必要性研究

本文以户外健身走运动为研究对象,运用文献资料法、访谈法、问卷调查法、数理统计法等方法,以全民健身为背景研究健身走运动的起源、发展、特征、价值、意义、注意事项以及发展存在的困境,进而对我国健身走运动的发展前景进行展望,为参与者提供科学锻炼的理论依据。     

普通高校体育教学评价多元化模式分析

体育教学评价本身是体育教学中不可或缺的部分,同时也有利于对体育教学的质量进行相对科学、合理的评估。对于体育教学改革而言,完善教学理论研究,采取多元化评价模式已成为未来改革的重要方向,同时制订专业的教学评价指标体系,从模型构建的过程中探究其具体应用方法。     

武术与民族传统体育学科建设目标、困境及出路

武术与民族传统体育学作为一门学科尚显稚嫩,其突出表现是学科知识缺乏独立性。综合运用文献资料、归纳演绎、比较分析等研究方法,沿着目标→困境→出路的逻辑线路,对武术与民族传统体育学学科建设问题展开深入探讨。主要观点:1)特色鲜明乃武术与民族传统体育学学科建设的目标,该目标达成所倚赖之原动力是实践内容的相对独立;2)边界模糊是阻碍武术与民族传统体育学学科建设保持特色鲜明、走向成熟的重要理论致因;3)反求诸己是武术与民族传统体育学学科建设打破边界模糊困境、实现特色鲜明目标的出路。如此,武术与民族传统体育学方能因获得独立性而有成长壮大之可能,才有希望摆脱学科依附阴影,乃至问鼎显学的地位。     

中国天空跑赛事发展战略研究

运用文献资料法和逻辑分析法，对天空跑赛事的发展现状、运动特点进行分析，并在此基础上研究中国天空跑的发展问题。中国天空跑赛事是一项依托体育强国战略，融自然风光与人文景观于一体、兼顾竞技体育与全民健身协调发展、充分利用和深度融合互联网技术的新兴运动项目。目前还存在宣传推广不足、品牌与文化建设欠缺、融资手段与商业配套落后等问题。认为，应该坚持区域间协同发展，加强全媒体平台建设；打造品牌赛事，提升服务意识与治理理念；充分利用政府与资本合作模式，挖掘附属产业价值。旨在促进中国特色天空跑赛事高质量发展。     

改革开放40年来体能相关研究的知识图谱分析

本文运用CiteSpace V可视化应用软件,以"体能"为研究主题从CNKI数据库中16本体育核心期刊发表的文献中检索出1979-2018年中977篇文献作为研究数据,绘制体能研究领域的知识图谱,并分析我国体能领域研究的现状和研究的热点。结果显示:本研究领域呈抛物线走势,2010年开始缓慢下降;体能、体能训练、二元训练理论和项群理论一直是众多学者关注的重点;国内学术研究团体逐渐形成,重要作者有茅鹏、曹景伟、张洪潭、袁运平等作者;体育类院校是该领域重要研究力量。     

论体育参与对高职学生就业能力的促进作用

在对高职学生就业能力的内涵进行简要阐述的基础上,重点论述体育参与对高职学生就业能力的促进作用:体育参与有利于提升高职学生的职业身体素质,有利于提升高职学生的应聘抗挫能力,有利于培养高职学生的团结协作能力。最后,就如何激发高职学生的体育参与积极性简要提出若干建议。
